    What Volty does with WeTravel

    WeTravel is a booking and payment platform for multi-day group travel companies. Volty reads WeTravel through the Partner API token your Pro account generates. Travelers ask what is left to pay, when it is due and what the trip includes, and Volty answers from their own booking, bringing in your team for anything it should not decide.

    How Volty connects to WeTravel

    WeTravel's Partner API is open to Pro accounts. An admin generates the key under Partner API Integration in account settings; WeTravel shows it once, so it goes straight into the connection.

      In WeTravel account settings, scroll to Partner API Integration and click Generate API Key.

      We agree which trips and booking fields Volty reads: availability, bookings, payment status.

      Approve in Volty

      A workspace admin approves the connection before any traveler is answered.

      Decide on payment links

      Resending a payment link is a change, so it starts Off.

    Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes WeTravel starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

    Which WeTravel plan do we need for this?

    WeTravel offers its Partner API to Pro accounts. An admin generates the key in account settings under Partner API Integration. WeTravel shows the key once, so we enter it into the connection during setup rather than having it emailed around.

    Can travelers get refunds or cancel through Volty?

    No. Volty reads the payment plan and can resend a payment link if you switch that on. Cancellations and refunds are passed to the trip lead you name, with the booking details attached, because your terms decide them.

    Does Volty know what each trip includes?

    Yes, from the trip itself. Inclusions, dates and the itinerary come from what you set up in WeTravel, so a question about flights or transfers is answered from that trip and not from a generic FAQ.

    How much does it cost to connect WeTravel with Volty?
