What Volty does with UISP (Ubiquiti UCRM)

UISP is Ubiquiti's ISP management suite, joining network management with a CRM for clients and billing. Volty reads the CRM with an app key and site status with a Network token. A subscriber asks what is due and gets the balance and date, someone offline on Oak Street hears the site is down, and your support lead asks Volty how many clients sit on a tower.

    • Balance and due date

Read from the UISP CRM client record.

    • Is the tower down

The serving site's status is checked before Volty replies.

    • Read keys by default

The CRM app key is created as read unless writes are agreed.

    • Outage counts for staff

Support asks how many clients a site serves and who wrote in.

How Volty connects to UISP (Ubiquiti UCRM)

UISP splits access between its CRM and its Network side, each with its own key. Our team builds Volty's connection with both and your admin approves it before subscribers are answered.

    1. 01

      Create a CRM app key

In UISP CRM, open System, Security, App keys and add a key. Set the type to read unless writes are agreed.

    2. 02

      Create a Network token

On the Network side, for site status. Since UISP 2.4.220 the two keys are separate.

    3. 03

      Agree the reads

Clients, services, invoices and site status, plus whether tickets are created.

    4. 04

      Approve and switch

Your admin approves the connection. Ticket creation starts Off.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • Match client by phoneReads
    • Read balance and invoicesReads
    • Check serving siteReads
    • Open CRM ticketChanges

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes UISP (Ubiquiti UCRM) starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

Which UISP key does Volty need, CRM or Network?

Usually both. Since UISP 2.4.220 the CRM and Network sides use separate keys. The CRM app key is created under CRM, System, Security, App keys, with its type set to read unless writes are agreed. Site status comes from a Network API token.

Can Volty tell subscribers there is an outage?

Yes. When a subscriber says they are offline, Volty checks the site that serves them. If the site is down, it says so and gives the time it went offline, so your support line is not flooded with the same question.

Can Volty suspend or unsuspend a service?

Only if you agree to that tool, and it would start Off. Most ISPs keep suspension rules in UISP's own billing settings and use Volty to answer balance questions and remind subscribers before a due date.

How much does it cost to connect UISP (Ubiquiti UCRM) with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.

Sign up for our 7-day trial. No credit card needed.
