      In Teachworks, open Account & Settings, then Integrations & Add-ons, and enable the API.

      From the API's Manage page, choose Generate API Token.

      Approve and switch

      Your admin approves the connection. Rescheduling starts Off.

    Common questions

    Which Teachworks plans include API access?

    Teachworks offers its API to companies on the Growth and Premium plans. An owner turns it on from the Integrations & Add-ons settings and generates the API token there, which our team uses to connect Volty to your lessons and invoices.

    Will Volty move a lesson to a different teacher?

    Only to the teacher the student already has, unless your office says otherwise. Volty offers that teacher's open times this week, and the lesson moves once the family taps one, if you have the reschedule tool switched on.

    Does Volty handle makeup lesson policy?

    Volty follows the policy you write into its instructions, such as how much notice a family must give. When a request falls outside it, Volty tells the family the office will decide and passes the thread on.
