    What Volty does with RentCheck

    RentCheck is an inspection app where residents complete self-guided move-in, periodic and move-out inspections room by room, with photos and ratings. Our team links it to Volty with RentCheck API credentials your admin generates. A new resident unsure whether she finished hears which rooms are left, and a manager asks which Riverbend inspections slipped past their due date.

    Common questions

    Where do we generate RentCheck API credentials?

    In RentCheck under Account Settings, Integrations, RentCheck API, then Generate Client Id and Secret. RentCheck shows the secret once, so copy it before you leave the page. Our team uses those credentials to build the Volty connection.

    Can Volty nudge a resident who has not started the move-in inspection?

    Yes. A scheduled automation reads inspections that are due and still not started, and sends each resident an approved WhatsApp template with their due date. Volty answers the replies, such as how to upload photos.

    Can Volty tell an owner what the move-out report found?

    Yes, from the completed inspection. Volty summarizes the room ratings and the maintenance flags raised, so the owner hears what needs work. The decision about deposit deductions stays with your team.
