    Momence and Volty

Yoga and fitness students check open spots, waitlists and class credits on Instagram or web chat, and Volty reads the studio's Momence sessions and memberships before it answers.

    What Volty does with Momence

Momence is the booking, payments and marketing platform many yoga, fitness and wellness studios run their classes on. Volty reaches Momence through its Host API, with the sessions, bookings and membership credits your studio chooses to share. Students ask what is on tomorrow and Volty answers from the live schedule, checks the credits left on a pack, and can book a spot once the student says yes.

    • The real schedule

Volty reads classes, teachers and open spots before it answers.

    • Pass balances

A student asking how many classes are left hears the number.

    • Waitlists and private sessions

A full class or a private session request goes to a named teacher.

    • A yes before every booking

Volty repeats the class, time and teacher, and books only after the student replies yes.

    Which pass to buy

A new student asks about prices, and Volty answers from the studio's own offers.

    How Volty connects to Momence

Momence opens its Host API to studios through an API client a host creates in the dashboard. Our team sets up the custom connection from that client, and an admin approves it once in Volty.

    1. 01

      Create a Developer API client

A host opens Apps & Integrations, then Developer API, and adds a new client. If the tab is missing, Momence support switches it on.

    2. 02

      Use a dedicated staff login

Momence recommends a separate staff account for the connection, so bookings Volty makes show under their own name.

    3. 03

      Pick the data to share

Sessions, members, bookings and membership credits are the usual set. Payments stay out unless you ask.

    4. 04

      Approve and switch

An admin approves the connection in Volty and sets Book class and Cancel booking to On, Check with staff, or Off.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • List upcoming sessionsReads
    • Look up memberReads
    • Check membership creditsReads
    • Book a sessionChanges
    • Add to waitlistChanges
    • Cancel a bookingChanges

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes Momence starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

What does a studio set up in Momence for Volty?

A host creates an API client under Apps & Integrations, Developer API, Add new client, which gives a client ID and secret. If the Developer API tab is missing, Momence support turns it on. Momence suggests a separate staff account for the connection, so its access can be limited and its actions are easy to spot.

Can Volty put a student on a waitlist for a full class?

Momence keeps waitlists on its bookings, so Volty can offer the waitlist when a session is full and tell the student where they stand. Adding them is a change to a booking, so that tool starts Off. The studio can turn it On or set it to Check with staff.

Does Volty see a member's payment card or billing history?

Only if the studio agrees to share it. Most studios share sessions, bookings and membership credits, which is what a student asks about. Card details stay in Momence. A failed renewal can be passed to the front desk instead of being discussed in the chat.

How much does it cost to connect Momence with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
