Balance and schedule from LoanPro's loan status

    What Volty does with LoanPro

LoanPro is a loan management and servicing platform for lenders and credit products. Volty calls LoanPro's API with a token generated in your tenant and tied to an agent user whose role limits what it can see. Borrowers ask when their next payment is due, what they owe or how to pay off early, and Volty answers from their own account and passes hardship and disputes to your servicing team.

    • Next payment and balance

Volty reads the borrower's account before it answers.

    • Customer first, then loan

Volty finds the LoanPro customer before it opens any loan or payment.

    • Hardship goes to staff

A missed payment or a dispute is passed to a named colleague.

    • Notes on the account

A promise to pay can be proposed as a note for staff to approve.

    How Volty connects to LoanPro

LoanPro generates API tokens under Settings, Company, API, Overview, each tied to an agent user. Calls also carry your tenant ID. We use a dedicated agent user so its role decides what Volty can read.

    1. 01

      Create an agent user

A LoanPro user for Volty, with a role limited to the fields agreed.

    2. 02

      Generate the token

In Settings, Company, API, Overview, generate a token for that user and note the tenant ID.

    3. 03

      Try it on sandbox

LoanPro's sandbox tenant lets us test reads before live loans.

    4. 04

      Approve and set switches

An admin approves once in Volty. Account notes start Off.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • Find the borrower in LoanProReads
    • Read current balance and statusReads
    • Read the next scheduled paymentReads
    • Read a dated payoff figureReads
    • Log a promise-to-pay noteChanges

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes LoanPro starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

Whose permissions does Volty use in LoanPro?

A LoanPro API token is generated under Settings, Company, API, Overview and tied to an agent user. We create a dedicated user for Volty, so its LoanPro role limits what the connection can read. Calls also carry your tenant ID, and the token can be revoked at any time.

Can Volty take a payment or change a due date?

No. Volty reads the schedule, balance and payoff amount. A borrower who wants to pay later can have that logged as a note for servicing to approve. Payment processing, due date changes and hardship plans stay with your staff.

Do we have to test against live loans?

No. LoanPro offers a sandbox environment on the same API address, and we test the reads there first. Your servicing manager checks Volty's answers against test borrowers before the live tenant is connected and any real borrower is answered.

How much does it cost to connect LoanPro with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
