Hi, where are we on my mortgage? Closing is supposed to be the 20th.
VoltyHi Christina, I've asked Brian, your loan officer, to check your file and reply today. If you have documents for him, you can send them here.

VoltyThank you, I've passed it to Brian along with your question.
BrianHi Christina, got it. Underwriting still needs a letter about the September deposit. I'll send it over for your signature.

    What Volty does with LendingPad

LendingPad is a cloud mortgage loan origination system. LendingPad approves the vendors that work on a lender's setup, so anything Volty reads from it is arranged with LendingPad and your team. The part that needs no file access is the hand-off: a borrower's status question or document on WhatsApp, web chat or email goes to the loan officer you assign, and the borrower is told who has it. Rates and approval stay with the loan officer.

    • Status questions reach a person

Volty passes the borrower's question to their loan officer with the thread attached.

    • Documents land with the processor

A statement sent on WhatsApp goes to the processor or loan officer you assign.

    • No rates, no decisions

Pricing, locks and approvals stay with the licensed loan officer.

    • File reads only once arranged

What Volty may read from LendingPad is agreed with LendingPad and your team first.

    Should we lock

Rates dropped this week. Should we lock now or wait?
VoltyThat's a decision for your loan officer, Andre. I've asked Brian to call you this afternoon about locking.
BrianHi Andre, I'll call at 2pm with today's options.

    As an automation

Describe it to Volty in a sentence; it drafts the automation and an admin turns it on.

    How Volty connects to LendingPad

LendingPad does not publish an open API reference, and its terms require third-party vendors on a lender's setup to be approved by LendingPad and sign its NDA first. We arrange the access route with LendingPad and your operations lead.

    1. 01

      Clear the vendor step

LendingPad approves Voltade as a vendor on your setup, with its NDA signed.

    2. 02

      Agree the loan fields

Which fields, if any, LendingPad lets Volty read for your company.

    3. 03

      Approve in Volty

A Volty admin turns the connection on.

    4. 04

      Set the switches

Any tool that would change a loan starts Off.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • Read the loan fields LendingPad sharesReads

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes LendingPad starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

Does LendingPad have an open API Volty plugs into?

LendingPad does not publish an open API reference, and its terms say third-party vendors working on a lender's setup must be approved by LendingPad and sign an NDA. We arrange that with LendingPad and your team before anything is read, and agree which loan fields, if any, Volty reads.

Will Volty talk about rates, locks or approval odds?

No. Volty passes questions about rates, locks, pricing and approval to the borrower's loan officer and tells the borrower who will reply. Volty does not make lending decisions, and your disclosures and compliance obligations stay with your company.

Can borrowers send documents through WhatsApp?

Yes. A borrower can reply with a statement or letter, and Volty passes it with their message to the loan officer or processor you assign. Writing anything back to LendingPad is only possible if LendingPad and your team agree it, and it would start Off.

How much does it cost to connect LendingPad with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.

Sign up for our 7-day trial. No credit card needed.
