    InkSoft and Volty

Players, parents and coaches ask when a team store closes and where their order is, and Volty answers from your InkSoft online stores and sends artwork changes to your art team.

    What Volty does with InkSoft

InkSoft gives custom apparel decorators their online stores, design studio and order management. InkSoft offers an API for its stores, and our team confirms with you which access your InkSoft account includes before building the custom connection. Members of a team or club ask when their store closes or where their shirt is, and Volty answers from the store and the order, and passes artwork questions to your art team.

    • When does the store close

The close date and when orders ship to the school or gym, read from the online store.

    • Where is my order

A parent or player hears whether their order is waiting for the store to close, printing, or shipped.

    • Proof questions to the art team

Logo changes, ink colors and placement questions go to the designer who owns the proof.

    • Organizers ask about their store

A coach or club organizer asks how many have ordered and which item leads.

    As an automation

Describe it to Volty in a sentence; it drafts the automation and an admin turns it on.

    How Volty connects to InkSoft

InkSoft's API wiki on GitHub now points to its API 2 documentation on InkSoft's help site. What your account can reach through it is confirmed first, then our team builds a read-only custom connection.

    1. 01

      Confirm API access

We check with you and InkSoft that your account can use the API and what it covers.

    2. 02

      Pick the stores

All your online stores, or only the team and club stores you name.

    3. 03

      Approve it

An admin approves the connection once in Volty.

    4. 04

      Review the switches

Every tool reads only. Each can still be set On, Check with staff, or Off.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • Read a team storeReads
    • Read a buyer's orderReads
    • Read where an order is in productionReads

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes InkSoft starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

Does InkSoft let outside tools read our stores?

InkSoft publishes API 2 documentation on its help site, and its older API wiki on GitHub points there. Our team confirms with you and InkSoft what your account can use before building anything. Volty then reads through a custom connection that changes nothing in InkSoft, and an admin approves it once in Volty.

Can a coach check how many orders a team store has?

Yes. A store organizer can ask on email, WhatsApp or web chat, and Volty answers with the order count, the most ordered item and the close date. Two days before a store closes, an automation can email the organizer the count and a link to share.

Who handles a request to change the logo or ink color?

Your art team. Volty recognizes artwork and proof questions and passes them to the designer you name with the store and order details, and the designer replies in the same thread. Volty does not edit designs or proofs.

How much does it cost to connect InkSoft with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.

Sign up for our 7-day trial. No credit card needed.
