    What Volty does with Printavo

Printavo is the shop management software screen printers and embroiderers run their quotes, jobs and invoices on. Our team connects your shop to Volty through Printavo's GraphQL API, using the API token from your My Account page. Customers ask when their shirts will be ready and Volty answers from the job's status and due date, and a new quote request is gathered in the chat and proposed for the shop to price.

    • When will it be ready

Volty reads the invoice's custom status, such as Art approval or In production, and its due date.

    • Quote requests gathered

Garment, colors, print locations, quantity and in-hand date are collected before anyone prices the job.

    • Only the customer's own jobs

Volty only reads invoices for the customer it has matched to a confirmed email or phone.

    • Art questions to the shop

A proof change or a new art file goes to the artist on that job.

    A new quote

Brandon wants 40 polos for his staff. Volty collects the details and proposes the quote for the shop.

    How Volty connects to Printavo

Printavo API v2 is GraphQL at a single endpoint. Requests send the account email and the API token from the My Account page as headers, and Printavo limits each user to 10 requests every 5 seconds.

    1. 01

      Copy the API token

From Printavo's My Account page, for the user Volty should act as.

    2. 02

      Choose the reads and writes

Customers, invoices, quotes and statuses to read. Creating quotes only if you want it.

    3. 03

      Approve the connection

Our team builds it and an admin approves it once in Volty.

    4. 04

      Set Create a quote

It starts Off. With Check with staff, a salesperson approves each new quote.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • Find a customerReads
    • Read an invoice and its statusReads
    • Create a quoteChanges

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes Printavo starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

Which Printavo API does Volty use?

Printavo's API v2, which is GraphQL. Requests carry the account email and the API token from the My Account page as headers, and Printavo allows 10 requests every 5 seconds per user. Our team builds the custom connection with that token, and an admin approves it once in Volty.

Does Volty understand our custom statuses?

Yes. Printavo statuses are your own, such as Art approval, On press or Ready for pickup, and Volty reads the status and due date on the customer's invoice. You tell us during setup which status means ready, so the pickup automation only fires on that one.

Can Volty create a quote in Printavo?

Printavo's API has a quote creation mutation, and Volty can use it once you switch the tool on. Volty gathers garment, colors, print locations, quantity and in-hand date in the chat first. On Check with staff, a salesperson reviews and prices each quote before it is created.

How much does it cost to connect Printavo with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
