    Healthie and Volty

Dietitians, coaches and virtual-first providers on Healthie let clients book sessions from Instagram DMs and WhatsApp, confirm tomorrow's video call, and ask what a program costs.

    What Volty does with Healthie

Healthie is an EHR, scheduling and telehealth platform for virtual-first and wellness providers. Its API is GraphQL, and an API key carries the permissions of the Healthie user it belongs to. Volty uses only the scheduling side: it reads a dietitian's or coach's open session times, books the one a client taps in an Instagram DM or on WhatsApp, confirms tomorrow's video sessions, and tells people what your packages cost and include before they sign up.

    • Sessions from Instagram DMs

Clients pick an evening video session without leaving the app.

    • Package prices before signup

Volty quotes your published 6-week and 12-week offers.

    • Night-before confirmations

A YES keeps the slot; MOVE brings up the provider's other times.

    • Health questions go to the provider

If a client starts sharing health details, Volty says it cannot discuss them and offers a session or a hand-off to the provider.

Hi, how much is your coaching program and do you take insurance?
VoltyHi Fatima, our 6-week coaching program is $540 and the 12-week program is $960, both on video. We are in network with Aetna and Cigna for dietitian visits; coaching is self-pay. Would you like a free 15-minute intro call first?

    How Volty connects to Healthie

Healthie's API is an add-on for Enterprise and Group plans. Once Healthie enables it, API keys are generated in your Healthie account, and each key acts with the permissions of the user who owns it. Healthie also offers a staging environment for testing.

    1. 01

      Turn on the API add-on

Ask Healthie to enable API access on your Enterprise or Group plan.

    2. 02

      Create a key under a scheduling-only user

The key inherits that user's permissions, so pick one who sees calendars and nothing clinical.

    3. 03

      Approve in Volty

Our team adds the key to a custom connection and your admin approves it.

    4. 04

      Pick the switch for booking

Starts Off. On, or Check with staff, when you are ready.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • Match a client to their Healthie appointmentsReads
    • Open session times for a providerReads
    • Book a Healthie sessionChanges
    • Move a Healthie sessionChanges
    • Cancel a Healthie sessionChanges

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes Healthie starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

Do we need a particular Healthie plan for this?

Healthie offers its API as an add-on for Enterprise and Group plans. Once Healthie enables it, you generate an API key in your account, and our team adds that key to a custom connection in Volty. A Volty admin approves the connection before it is used.

What can Volty see with our Healthie key?

A Healthie API key acts with the permissions of the user who owns it, so create it under a user who can see provider calendars and client names and cannot open charts, forms or packages. Volty is held to that view. Volty is for scheduling and front-desk questions, not for health records, and does not sign a BAA.

Can clients book with any provider on our team?

They can book with the provider they ask for, or with the one already assigned to them, depending on how you set it up. Volty reads that provider's open session times from Healthie and books the slot the client taps, after the client confirms. Program prices and the insurers you accept come from answers your team writes in Volty.

How much does it cost to connect Healthie with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.

Sign up for our 7-day trial. No credit card needed.
