Cerbo is an EHR for integrative, functional and direct primary care practices. Members of these practices message a lot between visits, often on Instagram. Volty reads a provider's availability and appointment types from Cerbo's API, books the visit the member asks for, and answers what a prospective member wants to know before joining: what the membership includes, what it costs per month, and which providers take new members. Everything about a member's health goes to the care team.
Volty uses the follow-up type and length you set in Cerbo.
Monthly price, what is included and how to join, in your practice's wording.
If a member starts describing a health concern, Volty says it can't discuss it, offers the next visit, and passes the thread to the care team.
Nothing is written to Cerbo until the member picks a time.

Andre found the practice on Instagram. Volty answers from the membership page and books a meet-and-greet.

Cerbo has a REST API documented with an OpenAPI spec that covers far more of the practice than scheduling. It uses dedicated API credentials that are separate from staff logins, and an API user can be disabled in Cerbo at any time. Volty's connection is limited to availability, appointment types and patient matching.
Your practice requests an API user from Cerbo for this connection.
Appointments, availability and patient matching only; the chart stays out.
Our team builds the custom connection and your admin approves it.
Starts Off. Most practices set it On with member confirmation.
Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.
Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes Cerbo starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.
Only provider availability, appointment types and enough of the patient record to match a member and their upcoming visits. Cerbo's REST API covers much more, including messaging and billing, and all of that stays out of the connection. Volty is for scheduling and front-desk questions, not for health records, and does not sign a BAA.
No. Cerbo issues API credentials that are separate from user logins, tied to an API user with its own permission profile. Our team uses those credentials in a custom connection your admin approves, and you can disable the API user in Cerbo whenever you want to cut access.
Yes. It answers from what your practice writes down: the monthly price, what the membership covers, which providers are taking new members and where you are. It can then book a meet-and-greet call in Cerbo when the person picks a time.
