Breezeway issues a client ID and secret to account holders, and with them Volty reads properties, reservations and tasks for the homes you manage. A guest asking for early check-in hears when the clean will finish, and a guest reporting a broken heater has a maintenance task proposed for the team.

    How Volty connects to Breezeway

    Breezeway issues API credentials to account holders through a request form, and the connection runs on a token renewed every 24 hours. Our team handles that, and an admin approves the connection in Volty before guests hear from it.

    How do we get Breezeway API credentials?

    An account holder fills in Breezeway's API credentials form, and Breezeway issues a client ID and secret that are exchanged for a token every 24 hours. We set up the custom connection from those, and an admin approves it in Volty.

    Can Volty promise a guest early check-in?

    Volty reads the property's cleaning task for that day. If the clean is done or scheduled early, it can offer the earlier time your policy allows. If the clean is still open, it tells the guest it will confirm later and alerts the ops lead.

    Does a guest's photo reach the maintenance task?

    When a guest reports a problem with a photo, Volty can create a Breezeway task on that property with the description and the image. Creating tasks starts Off. Most operators set it to Check with staff so a coordinator picks the right department first.
