    What Volty does with Treez

    Treez is the point of sale and inventory system many licensed cannabis dispensaries use. Volty reads Treez tickets so an online shopper hears whether their pickup is ready, and reads product stock store by store before it says an item is on the shelf. Store managers ask Volty the same questions in team chat.

    How Volty connects to Treez

    Treez gives API access through its support team, and since October 1, 2026 new integrations sign their own requests (V3 JWT) instead of using an API key. The Volty team handles that request with you and sets Volty up as a custom connection.

    Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes Treez starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

    How do we get Treez API access for Volty?

    Treez issues access through its support team. You open the Need Help? chat in Treez with your store URL and name Voltade as the partner. Since October 1, 2026 Treez issues no new API keys, so Volty signs its requests with its own certificate, and Treez returns an Organization ID with the permissions it set.

    Can Volty sell or reserve product for a shopper?

    No. Volty reads tickets, products and per-store inventory. It does not create tickets, take payment or hold stock. A shopper who wants to order is sent to your online menu, and anything that would change a Treez record starts Off.

    Does Volty check age or ID?

    No. Volty reminds a shopper to bring valid ID to the pickup counter, and your budtenders check it as they do today. Volty only reads the order and inventory fields the dispensary agrees to share.

    How much does it cost to connect Treez with Volty?
