    An admin pastes an Odoo API key into Volty's key card and asks Volty in chat to connect your Odoo address. Volty writes a tool for each lookup and change, and the admin approves them once before Volty uses them.

    Does the Odoo connection work with custom fields?

    Yes. Volty writes the connection against your instance, so it follows the modules and fields you use, custom ones included. An admin approves it before Volty uses it.

    Can we test before going live?

    Yes. Point the connection at a staging database first, then switch it to production.

    Can Volty change records in Odoo?

    Only when an admin allows it. Every tool has its own switch: tools that only read can be turned on, and tools that change a record start Off. A tool that is on can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague to approve it.
