    How Volty connects to JobNimbus

    JobNimbus API keys are created in its settings and each key carries an Access Profile's permissions. A customer admin creates one for Volty, and the Volty team sets Volty up as a custom connection.

      Profile icon, Settings, API, then + Create New. Name it Volty and pick an Access Profile.

      Copy it once

      JobNimbus shows the full key only on that screen. Keys expire a year after creation.

    Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes JobNimbus starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

    How do we limit what Volty can do in JobNimbus?

    Through the Access Profile on its API key. A customer admin creates the key under Settings, then API, and picks an Access Profile. The key keeps that profile's permissions as they were at creation, so to change Volty's access you create a new key.

    Does the JobNimbus key Volty uses expire?

    Yes. JobNimbus API keys created now expire one year after creation, and older keys are being retired too. When Volty's key nears expiry, your admin creates a new one and our team swaps it in.

    Can a homeowner find out about their insurance claim from Volty?

    If the adjuster meeting and claim status are on the job in JobNimbus and you share them, yes. Volty matches the homeowner to their contact first. Questions about coverage amounts go to your rep.
