What Volty does with Service Fusion

Service Fusion is field service management software that HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other trade contractors use for jobs, estimates, dispatch and invoices. Our team links it to Volty through Service Fusion's Open API, which comes with the Pro plan. A homeowner who texts about tomorrow's deck repair hears the tech's name and arrival window, and a fence inquiry from the website turns into a proposed job that the office approves.

    • The tech and the window

Each reply names the assigned tech and the time range dispatch booked.

    • Estimate totals

Homeowners hear whether an estimate is approved or still waiting, and its amount.

    • Website inquiries to jobs

Address, scope and preferred day arrive on a proposed Service Fusion job.

    • The office signs off

Job creation is Off at first. On Check with staff, the office approves each one.

    A fence estimate request

Kevin asks about 120 feet of privacy fence. The office gets a job to approve.

VoltyYes, we do. What's the address, and is there a day this week that works for an estimate visit?

    As an automation

Describe it to Volty in a sentence; it drafts the automation and an admin turns it on.

How Volty connects to Service Fusion

Service Fusion keeps its Open API for Pro plan accounts. Our team builds the Volty connection on top of it with you.

    1. 01

      Check the plan

The account must be on Service Fusion Pro, or upgrade, before the API is available.

    2. 02

      Copy the API credentials

Under My Office, Developer Settings, API Credentials, your admin copies the Client ID and Client Secret.

    3. 03

      Pick the records

Together we choose which customers, jobs and estimates Volty reads, and whether it may propose jobs.

    4. 04

      Approve and switch on

A Volty admin approves the connection once, then sets each tool to On, Check with staff or Off.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • Look up homeownerReads
    • Read job, tech and windowReads
    • Read estimate totalReads
    • Propose Service Fusion jobChanges

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes Service Fusion starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

Which Service Fusion plan does Volty need?

Service Fusion opens its API only to Pro plan subscribers, so the account has to be on Pro or upgrade before we can connect. Once it is on Pro, your admin finds the Client ID and Client Secret under My Office, Developer Settings, API Credentials and shares them with our team for the setup.

Can Volty tell a homeowner which tech is coming?

Yes, if you agree that Volty reads the job's assigned tech and window. It looks up the job before it replies, so the homeowner hears a name and a time range from the schedule your dispatcher set, and nothing invented. If a crew runs late, the office changes the job in Service Fusion and Volty's next answer follows.

Will a web chat lead become a Service Fusion job by itself?

Only if you let it. The create-job tool starts Off. Set it to Check with staff and each proposed job, with name, address, work and preferred day, waits as a card for someone in the office to approve before it reaches Service Fusion.

How much does it cost to connect Service Fusion with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
