    What Volty does with RepairDesk

RepairDesk is the POS and repair ticket software phone and electronics repair shops run their counter and bench on. RepairDesk publishes a public API, and our team connects it to Volty with an API key your store generates. Customers ask whether their phone is fixed and Volty reads the ticket, and someone with a cracked screen gets a price and a drop-off time in the chat.

    • Is my phone ready

The ticket's repair status and the tech's latest note, in plain words for the customer.

    • A price before drop-off

The price for that model and repair is read from your services before the customer comes in.

    • Estimates the customer confirms

When the bench finds more, the customer approves the extra cost in the chat and the yes is noted on the ticket.

    • Only the customer's own tickets

Volty matches the customer by the phone number on the ticket before sharing anything.

    How Volty connects to RepairDesk

RepairDesk documents a public API for its stores, and access starts with an API key generated in your RepairDesk account. Our team builds the custom connection from that key.

    1. 01

      Generate an API key

A RepairDesk admin generates a key for the store and shares it with our team.

    2. 02

      Agree the ticket data

Customers, tickets, statuses and repair prices, plus whether Volty may note approvals.

    3. 03

      Approve the connection

A Volty admin approves it once.

    4. 04

      Switch the approval note

Noting an estimate starts Off. Check with staff sends each note to the counter first.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • Look up a customerReads
    • Read a ticketReads
    • Read a repair priceReads
    • Note an approved estimateChanges

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes RepairDesk starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

How does Volty get access to RepairDesk?

RepairDesk publishes a public API, and access starts with an API key generated in your RepairDesk account. You share the key with our team, we build a custom connection to the tickets, customers and prices you agree, and an admin approves it once in Volty before it is used.

Can a customer approve extra repair work by text?

Yes. When a tech finds more work, Volty explains it with the price and asks the customer. If you switch on the approval tool, their yes is noted on the ticket. With Check with staff, the counter confirms before the note is written.

Will customers get a message when their phone is ready?

Yes. An hourly automation reads tickets set to ready for pickup and sends each customer an approved WhatsApp template with the balance due. Replies such as asking to pick up tomorrow are answered by Volty or passed to the counter.

How much does it cost to connect RepairDesk with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.

Sign up for our 7-day trial. No credit card needed.
