    What Volty does with NexHealth

NexHealth is a patient experience platform for online booking, reminders and payments, connected to a practice's EHR. Its Synchronizer API writes appointments into the practice's own schedule, so a booking Volty makes through NexHealth lands where your front desk already looks. Volty uses it for the calendar only: a returning patient on WhatsApp moves a visit, a new patient on Instagram books a first exam, and questions about which insurers you accept get the answer your office wrote.

    • Booked into your EHR's schedule

NexHealth writes the appointment where the front desk works.

    • New or returning

Volty matches the phone number first and proposes a new record when there is none.

    • Health questions to the desk

If a patient starts describing a dental or medical concern, Volty says it cannot discuss it and offers the next opening or a call from a named colleague.

    • Patient chooses the time

Volty books after the patient picks a slot.

Do you take new patients? And are you in network with Delta Dental?
VoltyYes to both: we're accepting new patients and we're in network with Delta Dental PPO. A new patient exam and cleaning takes about 90 minutes. What's your full name and phone number? The first opening is Tuesday, November 10 at 3pm.

    How Volty connects to NexHealth

NexHealth offers its Synchronizer API to developers, with a developer account, test API keys and a sandbox. It supports webhooks for events such as a new appointment being written to the EHR, signed with HMAC-SHA256. Volty connects through NexHealth to the practice's schedule.

    Common questions

Does a booking from Volty reach our EHR?

Yes, as an appointment. Volty books through NexHealth's Synchronizer API, which writes the appointment into the schedule of the record system NexHealth is synced with, the same way an online booking does. Volty is for scheduling and front-desk questions, not for health records, and does not sign a BAA.

What access does the NexHealth connection need?

Access to NexHealth's Synchronizer API for your practice, with a sandbox for testing first. Our team builds a custom connection in Volty with it, scoped to patient names and phone numbers, providers, open slots and appointments, and your admin approves it once.

    Can Volty add new patients?

It can propose one. When no record matches, Volty collects the name and phone number and drafts the new patient with the first appointment attached. Creating patients starts Off, and most practices keep it on Check with staff.

How much does it cost to connect NexHealth with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
