Ordered on DoorDash about an hour ago. The fries weren't in the bag.
VoltySorry about that, Chris. Which name was the order under, roughly what time was it placed, and do you have a photo of the receipt sticker?

VoltyThanks. I've sent all of that to Tasha, our manager on tonight. She'll reply here about a credit or a remake.

    What Volty does with ItsaCheckmate

ItsaCheckmate connects ordering platforms such as DoorDash and Uber Eats to a restaurant's point of sale and keeps one menu per location in sync across them. Where the restaurant and ItsaCheckmate agree to share that menu with Volty, diners asking what is in a dish or which items suit them get the answer from the same menu the apps show. Delivery orders themselves stay with the app and the store: when a diner reports a problem, Volty collects the details and hands it to the manager.

    • One menu, every app

Item questions are answered from the location menu ItsaCheckmate pushes to the ordering platforms.

    • Details gathered up front

Which app, the name on the order, the time and a photo, asked once.

    • The store owns the fix

Remakes, credits and refunds are decided by the manager and the ordering app.

    • Per-location menus

A diner at Elm Ave hears the Elm Ave menu, not another store's.

The same menu ItsaCheckmate keeps for the ordering apps answers the allergy question.

    Is there a vegan option

A diner asks before ordering on Uber Eats. Volty reads the location's menu.

Ordering from your Elm Ave spot on Uber Eats tonight. Is anything vegan?
Read ItsaCheckmate menuElm Ave · Garden Burger, vegan bun · Sweet potato fries
VoltyHi Nadia, the Garden Burger is a black bean patty on a vegan bun, and the sweet potato fries go well with it. Both are on the Elm Ave menu in Uber Eats.

    As an automation

    How Volty connects to ItsaCheckmate

ItsaCheckmate's Open API is built for ordering platforms: a partner registers an OAuth app on ItsaCheckmate's developer portal and each restaurant location authorizes it, and its documented calls cover locations, menus and order submission. Whether a menu route fits your restaurant is settled with ItsaCheckmate before anything is connected.

    1. 01

      Talk to ItsaCheckmate together

We contact ItsaCheckmate with you to agree how your locations' menus can be shared with Volty.

    2. 02

      Authorize each location

Where the OAuth route is used, each location grants access separately, so you choose which stores are included.

    3. 03

      Approve in Volty

Our team sets up the custom connection. An admin approves it once.

    4. 04

      Name who takes complaints

Volty hands delivery problems to the manager you pick per store. It does not read or change orders.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • Read location menuReads

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes ItsaCheckmate starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

Can a restaurant connect ItsaCheckmate to Volty by itself?

ItsaCheckmate's Open API is a partner program for ordering platforms: a partner registers an OAuth app on ItsaCheckmate's developer portal and each location authorizes it. We work out with you and ItsaCheckmate whether that route fits your locations before anything is set up, and what Volty reads depends on it.

Can Volty refund a delivery order?

Refunds stay with the manager and the delivery app the order came from. Volty gathers the order, the problem and a photo if the diner has one, then brings the manager into the thread with everything in one place.

Does Volty know the menu across all our delivery apps?

ItsaCheckmate keeps one menu per location and pushes it to the delivery apps. If menus are part of what is shared, Volty answers item and allergen questions from that same menu, so the answer matches what the diner saw.

How much does it cost to connect ItsaCheckmate with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
