    What Volty does with Eventzilla

Eventzilla is event registration, ticketing and management software for conferences and events. Volty uses an Eventzilla API key from an application created in your organizer account. Attendees ask which ticket they hold, when doors open and how to add a colleague, and Volty answers from the registration, with ticket changes proposed for a colleague to approve.

    • The attendee's own ticket

Volty reads the registration before it answers.

    • Agenda and venue questions

Session times, rooms and parking answered from your event details.

    • Group registrations to staff

Invoices and sponsor questions go to a named colleague.

    • Extra passes are approved

Adding a ticket to someone's order goes to the events team first.

    As an automation

Describe it to Volty in a sentence; it drafts the automation and an admin turns it on.

    How Volty connects to Eventzilla

Eventzilla's v2 API takes an x-api-key header. An organizer admin creates an application under Settings, Developers, API Credentials, and that key lets Volty read the account's events and attendees.

    1. 01

      Create an API application

In Eventzilla, Settings, Developers, API Credentials, add an app for Volty.

    2. 02

      Agree the events in scope

Which events, ticket types and attendee fields Volty may read.

    3. 03

      Approve in Volty

A workspace admin approves the connection once.

    4. 04

      Set ticket changes

Adding a pass to an order is a change and starts Off.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • Find an attendee by email or phoneReads
    • Read the attendee's pass and orderReads
    • Count passes left by ticket typeReads
    • Add a pass to an existing orderChanges

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes Eventzilla starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

Where do we create the Eventzilla API key?

An organizer admin creates an application under Settings, Developers, API Credentials in Eventzilla. Eventzilla's v2 API accepts that key in an x-api-key header over HTTPS. We add it to the Volty connection, and an admin in Volty approves it before attendees get answers.

Can attendees add a colleague to their order?

Volty checks how many passes of that type are left and collects the colleague's name and email. Adding the pass is a change that starts Off; with Check with staff, the events team approves it and Eventzilla updates the order.

Will Volty answer sponsor or exhibitor questions?

It answers what your event details cover, like booth setup times, load-in doors and parking. Sponsorship packages, exhibitor invoices and group billing go to the colleague you name, because those depend on your contracts with each sponsor.

How much does it cost to connect Eventzilla with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
