    How Volty connects to MRPeasy

    MRPeasy's REST API signs in with a key pair from your own settings. Our team builds Volty's connection on it and your admin approves it before buyers are answered.

      In MRPeasy, go to Settings, System settings, Integration, API access.

      MRPeasy shows the API key, and you define the access key that pairs with it.

      Agree the reads

      Customer orders, manufacturing orders, stock and purchase orders, plus whether orders may be entered.

      Approve and switch

      Your admin approves the connection. Order entry stays Off until you decide.

    Common questions

    Where are the MRPeasy API keys?

    In MRPeasy under Settings, System settings, Integration, API access. MRPeasy generates the API key and you define the access key there. The pair works as a Basic authentication login for MRPeasy's REST API, and our team stores it in your Volty connection.

    Does Volty give a ship date before production is scheduled?

    No. Volty reads the customer order and the manufacturing orders planned against it. If no manufacturing order has a finish date yet, Volty tells the buyer a planner will confirm and sends the question to your sales team.

    Can our planners ask Volty about purchase orders?

    Yes. In Volty's team chat a planner can ask about stock on hand, what is booked for upcoming manufacturing orders and when a purchase order is due, and get a reply drawn from MRPeasy without opening a report.
