    How Volty connects to MemberClicks

    MC Professional's API uses OAuth 2.0. Client credentials live on the API Management page, which Authorized Service Administrators reach from Account Settings, and the API covers profiles, member types, member statuses and groups.

    Which MemberClicks product does Volty connect to?

    MC Professional, the product MemberClicks calls its current platform and which was formerly Oasis. Its JSON REST API uses OAuth 2.0. An Authorized Service Administrator creates client credentials on the API Management page in Account Settings, our team builds the connection with them, and a workspace admin approves it once.

    Can Volty tell members whether they are registered for our conference?

    The MC Professional API covers profiles, member types, statuses and groups. If you keep conference attendees in a group, Volty checks that group for the member asking. If registrations live somewhere else, our team agrees with you where Volty should look.

    Can Volty add a colleague to an organization membership?

    Volty reads how many seats the organization uses and can draft a new profile with the API's Create Profiles resource. That tool starts Off. Set it to Check with staff and member services approves each new person before MemberClicks is changed.
