    What Volty does with AdvicePay

AdvicePay is fee billing and payment processing software for financial advisors. Volty reaches AdvicePay through its OAuth public API, which AdvicePay offers on its Enterprise plan. Clients ask whether their planning fee went through or when the next one is due, and Volty answers from their own billing record and passes anything about advice to the advisor.

    • Invoice status from AdvicePay

Volty reads the client's invoices and payments before it answers.

    • Matched to one AdvicePay client

Volty finds the client record first, then reads only that client's invoices.

    • Advice stays with the advisor

Questions about investments or planning go to a named advisor.

    • Invoices drafted, never sent

A draft invoice goes to the home office or advisor to review and send.

    As an automation

    How Volty connects to AdvicePay

AdvicePay's public API uses OAuth 2.0 with bearer tokens, and AdvicePay makes API access available on its Enterprise plan. A firm admin authorizes Volty, and the connection reads the clients and invoices you agree.

    1. 01

      Confirm API access

Your firm needs AdvicePay's Enterprise plan, where API access is offered.

    2. 02

      Authorize over OAuth

A firm admin signs in to AdvicePay and grants Volty access.

    3. 03

      Limit the scope

Clients, invoices and payment status; agreements and advice notes stay out.

    4. 04

      Approve and set switches

An admin approves once in Volty. Drafting an invoice starts Off.

    The tools Volty gets

Each one is a switch on the Sources page in Volty.

    • List a client's invoicesReads
    • Read paid date and next billingReads
    • Draft an invoice for reviewChanges

Reading tools can be turned on straight away. Anything that changes AdvicePay starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague.

    Common questions

Does AdvicePay offer API access on every plan?

No. AdvicePay describes API access as part of its Enterprise plan. The public API uses OAuth 2.0, so a firm admin signs in to AdvicePay and authorizes the connection. Volty then reads only the clients and invoices agreed during setup.

Will Volty discuss investments or fee changes with clients?

No. Volty tells a client what was billed, when it was paid and when the next invoice is scheduled. Questions about advice, fee levels or the agreement itself go to the advisor on record. Volty does not give financial advice, and your firm stays responsible for its client communications and records.

Can staff ask which planning fees are unpaid?

Yes. In Volty's team chat, staff can ask for open invoices for the month and get the client names, amounts and send dates read from AdvicePay. Nothing is sent to clients from that answer unless someone asks.

How much does it cost to connect AdvicePay with Volty?

Every Volty plan includes seats, active contacts and AI credits and starts with a free 7-day trial, and the plan prices are on voltade.com/pricing. Meta bills message charges separately for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
