Clinics
An agent that books the patient before they bounce.
Replies in real time on WhatsApp, holds the right slot with the right physician, tracks the treatment course session by session, and brings the patient back on the protocol's repeat day. Built around how Singapore TCM clinics actually run.
The loop
Four states, running across every patient enquiry that lands.
Most clinics lose patients in the gap between WhatsApp message and human reply. A real agent closes that gap. It reads the symptom or request, decides which physician fits, books the slot, and remembers when to bring the patient back.
Read
Pulls every patient enquiry from WhatsApp, the website form, Messenger, and Instagram. Understands "got slot for back pain on Sat?" the same way it understands a four-line follow-up question.
Decide
Checks the physician roster, consultation room availability, treatment-room equipment, and dispensary readiness for the right slot. Reads patient history if returning. Filters by physician specialty, language, current treatment course, and patient preference.
Act
Books the slot, sends the confirmation with directions, prep instructions, and any pre-visit forms. Posts the appointment to Plato Medical or your clinic system. Takes a deposit only if your policy requires one.
Remember
Holds every patient's treatment course (5-session acupuncture, 10-week herbal cycle), the physician they prefer, and the language they speak at the desk. Next reminder lands on the protocol's actual repeat day.
Capabilities
Six clusters. Pick the ones costing you patients every week.
Each cluster turns on independently. Most clinics start with after-hours booking and treatment course tracking, see chat-to-booking conversion lift, then add the rest.
Real-Time Booking on WhatsApp
Reply before the patient messages a competitor.
A new patient messages at 8:30pm asking about back pain consultation. The agent replies inside the minute, suggests two physicians who handle musculoskeletal cases, books the Saturday morning slot, and sends prep instructions. The patient sleeps with a confirmed appointment in hand.
Physician and Room Slot Logic
Offer slots that respect the physician, the room, the equipment, and the licensing scope together.
A patient wants cupping plus acupuncture in the same session. The agent only suggests slots where the physician is licensed for both, the treatment room has the consumables stocked, and the bed is the right type. No double-booking, no patient turning up to a partial setup.
Treatment Course Tracking
Hold the whole treatment protocol behind every booking.
A patient is on session 3 of a 10-session acupuncture course for chronic shoulder pain. The agent surfaces the remaining count in the confirmation, schedules the next session inside the protocol's window, and prompts a physician check-in at session 5 for progress review.
Herbal Prescription Reminders
Refill on the right day, not when the patient remembers.
A 14-day decoction cycle ends Monday. The agent reminds the patient on Saturday to renew the consultation, books the renewal slot if she's free, and notifies the dispensary so the next batch is ready when she walks in.
Insurance and Receipt Handling
Process the claim before the patient leaves.
A patient's plan covers TCM up to a per-visit cap. The agent prepares the receipt with the claim-ready breakdown, attaches the physician's notes if required, and sends the invoice to the patient's email or claim portal. No paperwork piled at the front desk.
Multilingual Patient Handling
Reply in the language the patient messages in.
An elderly patient messages in Mandarin, an HDB-block neighbour in Singlish, a corporate professional in English. The agent handles all three, escalates only when a translation nuance matters (symptom severity, complex consent), and your physician sees clean notes in the language she works in.
Autonomy
Book if you want. Or hold for the front desk.
Every capability has four levels. After-hours WhatsApp booking can run on full auto from day one while insurance receipts stay at draft-and-wait. You decide where the front desk stays in the loop.
Surface only
Replies with available slots and physician options. Front desk confirms manually.
Draft + wait
Drafts the booking and confirmation. Front desk OKs before send.
One-click approve
Books the slot, drafts the confirmation, queues for one-click send.
Full auto
For returning patients, on-protocol bookings, and standard consultations, the agent confirms, takes the deposit, and locks the calendar without asking.
Singapore playbook
Six enquiries Singapore clinics see every week.
Scenarios we've built the agent to handle, grounded in how SG TCM clinics, GP clinics, and small medical practices actually get messaged. Your version is configured to your physicians, your treatment menu, and your insurance panel.
After-hours pain enquiry
A patient messages at 9pm with sudden lower back pain. The agent suggests the earliest acute-care slot the next morning, sends prep instructions, and flags severity to the on-call physician for triage if the patient describes red-flag symptoms.
Chronic care recall on protocol day
A patient on a 12-week chronic-pain protocol is due session 7. The agent prompts on day 18 of the cycle, books the session-7 slot, and reminds the dispensary to prep the herbal continuation. Continuity holds without the front desk chasing.
Insurance panel slot routing
A patient asks if you accept her corporate insurance plan (e.g., AIA, Great Eastern, Cigna). The agent checks the panel list, confirms acceptance, and books only into physicians who handle that panel. No patient turning up only to discover the physician isn't on plan.
Medisave-eligible consultation flag
A patient with a chronic condition asks about Medisave coverage. The agent answers from your CHAS / Medisave-eligible service list, attaches the claim flow steps, and tags the booking so reception preps the right paperwork at the visit.
Festive period and PH closures
Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali, public holidays. The agent stops accepting bookings on configured closure dates and offers the next available slot instead. No patient walking up to a locked door.
Repeat-prescription reminder mid-cycle
A patient on a 14-day herbal decoction is due to renew. The agent reminds her three days before the cycle ends, books the renewal consultation, and notifies the dispensary so the next batch is ready when she arrives.

Common questions.
Will this work with Plato Medical or our existing clinic system?
Yes. We integrate with Plato Medical, HashMato, and most clinic management platforms used in Singapore. For systems without an API, we work directly with your team during scoping. The agent sits in front of your clinic system rather than replacing it.
How does it handle PDPA and patient data?
Patient details and conversation history are stored in Singapore (AWS ap-southeast-1) with PDPA-aligned audit logs and role-based access. We sign DPAs and walk you through the data path during scoping. Sensitive symptom descriptions and physician notes are scoped to the user permissions you set.
What if a patient describes a serious symptom over WhatsApp?
The agent recognises severity flags (e.g., chest pain, high fever, sudden weakness) and escalates to the on-call physician immediately rather than booking a routine slot. Triage rules are mapped during scoping with your medical director.
Can it handle Mandarin, dialect, English, and Malay patients?
Yes. The agent replies in the language the patient messages in, including Singlish phrasing. We tune for the dialect mix your clinic actually serves so "got cupping or not" gets the same handling as a formal enquiry.
What about insurance panels and Medisave?
Insurance panel coverage and Medisave / CHAS eligibility are mapped per physician and per service during scoping. The agent answers from that source of truth, books only on-panel where required, and prepares claim-ready receipts.
Will it spam our patients with reminders?
Reminder cadence is configured per protocol and per patient segment with hard caps. The agent respects "no thanks" responses across every channel and won't loop the same patient back into a generic flow.
How is it priced?
Scoped after a free scoping session. PSG and AIxDL grants are available for eligible SMEs. We handle the AIxDL application end-to-end. For PSG, we guide you through the application — your company files it directly through the Business Grants Portal. Full tiers and grant details on our pricing page.
