Comparison
Voltade vs Make & Zapier.
Make and Zapier connect your apps. Voltade gives you AI that does the work: Volty on a flat monthly plan, or a custom agent built around one operation. Both automate, at very different depths.

What you're really deciding.
Make and Zapier are workflow automation platforms. They connect apps and move data between them on triggers and actions. Voltade sells two things that start where those tools stop: Volty, an AI teammate on a flat monthly plan that answers customers on WhatsApp and email, and custom AI agents built around a single operation. One automates data flow. The other automates the work itself.
Side by side.

Where Voltade is different.
AI that understands, not just connects
Make and Zapier move data between apps. Voltade's AI reads the message, works out what it means and answers. A Zap can forward an email. An agent can read it, pull the order out of it and process it.
Handles what a workflow tool cannot parse
Voice notes, handwritten forms, photos with text on them, and customers switching language mid-sentence. None of that is a field a connector can map.
No per-task bill
Make and Zapier charge per operation, so the cost climbs with every automation you add. Volty is a flat monthly plan, and you move up a rung only as the AI's workload grows.
Grant support in Singapore
Voltade AI solutions are a Pre-Approved Solution under IMDA's SMEs Go Digital programme, so SMEs can get up to 50% PSG support, and larger custom builds go through GenAIxDL. Make and Zapier are not on that list.
The honest take.
Choose the alternative when
If you need to connect two SaaS apps quickly, syncing HubSpot contacts to Google Sheets or posting Typeform responses to Slack, Make or Zapier does it in minutes and no AI is involved.
Choose Voltade when
If the automation depends on understanding language (customer enquiries, quotation requests, order messages), reading documents (invoices, receipts), or holding a conversation across channels, a workflow is the wrong shape for the job.
Bottom line
Make and Zapier are very good at connecting apps, and connecting apps is not the same as doing the work. If your bottleneck is data moving between tools, use Make or Zapier. If it is work that needs someone to understand what was said, that is what Voltade builds.
