When trying to remove a WhatsApp Business app from your Meta Business Portfolio, you may encounter a block due to two-factor authentication (2FA) settings.

## The Problem

You're trying to remove a WhatsApp Business app from your Meta Business Portfolio, but the system won't allow the removal.

## Why This Happens

Meta Business Suite has security measures that prevent removal of connected apps when 2FA is configured. This is designed to prevent unauthorized disconnections of business-critical integrations.

## How to fix this issue

### Step 1: access Meta Business Suite Settings

\1. Go to Meta Business Suite

\2. Navigate to Settings > Business Settings

### Step 2: Change 2FA Settings

\1. Find the Two-Factor Authentication section

\2. Change the 2FA requirement to "No One"

\3. Save your changes

### Step 3: Remove the WhatsApp Business App

\1. Go back to the app removal section

\2. Attempt to remove the WhatsApp Business app again

\3. The removal should now proceed successfully
