This error occurs when WhatsApp's systems cannot verify the eligibility of your phone number for the Business Platform.

## Error Message

> "Your phone number is not eligible to connect to the WhatsApp Business Platform."

## Why This Happens

WhatsApp requires phone numbers to meet certain eligibility criteria:

- Sufficient activity history on WhatsApp
- Valid phone number registration
- No previous violations or bans
- Proper verification status

New or inactive numbers often trigger this error.

A number already in use on the WhatsApp Business app can be connected to Volty through Meta's coexistence flow, which moves it onto the Business Platform without registering a new number.

## How to fix this error

### Step 1: increase WhatsApp Business App activity

More activity on the WhatsApp Business App helps WhatsApp determine eligibility:

\1. Use the WhatsApp Business App regularly

\2. Send and receive messages

\3. Update your business profile

\4. Add products to your catalog

\5. Continue normal business activity for a few days

### Step 2: Delete and Recreate the Account

After building activity:

\1. Open the WhatsApp Business App

\2. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account

\3. Confirm the deletion

\4. Recreate a new WhatsApp Business Account with the same number

\5. Set up your business profile again

After recreating the account:
