This error occurs when your WhatsApp Business API integration is missing specific permissions required to perform an action.

## Error Message

> "(#3) Application does not have the API granular permission to make this call."

## Why This Happens

Meta's API uses granular permissions to control what actions applications can perform. This error occurs when:

- Required permissions were not granted during initial setup
- Permissions were revoked in Meta Business Suite
- A recent Meta policy update requires additional permissions
- The connected Facebook account doesn't have the required role

## How to fix this error

### Reauthorize and grant all permissions

\1. Go to Settings > Channels > WhatsApp

\2. Click Reauthorize

\3. Click Continue with Facebook

\4. Log in with the account that has Meta admin/full control access

\5. Important: Grant ALL requested permissions when prompted

\6. Complete the authorization process

### Verify permissions in Meta Business Suite

After reauthorization:

\1. Go to Meta Business Suite

\2. Navigate to Settings > Business Settings
