## WhatsApp Error: Already Registered with INBOX

This error occurs when your phone number is already connected to another WhatsApp Business API provider and needs to be disconnected before connecting to a new platform.

## Error Message

> "This phone number is already registered with the INBOX product"

## Why This Happens

Each WhatsApp Business API phone number can only be connected to one platform at a time. This error occurs when:

- The number is connected to another Business Solution Provider (BSP)
- A previous integration wasn't properly disconnected
- The number is still linked to a test or demo account

## How to fix this error

### Step 1: Disconnect from the Existing Partner

\1. Open the WhatsApp Business App on your phone

\2. Go to Settings > Account

\3. Tap Business Platform or Linked Devices

\4. Find the currently connected partner/platform

\5. Tap Disconnect

\6. Confirm the disconnection

### Step 2: Wait for Propagation

After disconnecting:

- Wait 5-10 minutes for the change to propagate
- WhatsApp's systems need time to update

### Step 3: perform new onboarding

\1. Return to your new platform (Voltade)

\2. Start the onboarding process

\3. The number should now be available for connection

## If you don't have access to the old platform

If you can't access the previous provider:

\1. Try disconnecting through the WhatsApp Business App

\2. Contact the previous provider to request disconnection

\3. Reach out to Meta support if necessary
