# You've seen the GenAIxDL pricing. Here's how the grant works. > The IMDA GenAI x Digital Leaders grant is for non-ICT Singapore businesses with in-house tech teams. Eligibility, the interest form and Voltade's role. Updated May 2026 On this page 01 / Before you apply Eligibility ## Three checks. Any one fails and this isn't the grant for you. GenAIxDL is narrower than most Singapore grants. Three things have to be true, and if any one fails, this isn't the grant for you. We'll tell you that early rather than waste your time. - 01 · You're a Singapore-registered, taxable business with at least 30% local shareholding. · ACRA-registered and operating here. This is the standard baseline. - 02 · You're a non-ICT company. · This is the gate that surprises people. If your SSIC code starts with 60, 61, 62 or 63 (that's the ICT sector), you don't qualify as an applicant. GenAIxDL is built for digitally mature companies outside tech who want to adopt GenAI, not software or IT firms. - 03 · You have an in-house tech team. · Not "we use a lot of software." An actual team of engineers and analysts who can own and run what gets built. GenAIxDL is for digital leaders, not first-time digitisers. If you're just starting your digital journey, the PSG route is the better fit, and we can help there too. If you pass all three, read on. If you're not sure where you sit, tell us what your business does and we'll tell you which grant fits. Prep checklist ## What the interest form asks. The interest form takes about 10 minutes, but only if you've thought through the answers first. Here's everything it asks, grouped so you can prep in one sitting. About your company - 01 · Company name and UEN. Straightforward. - 02 · Your sector. Confirm you're non-ICT (see the gate above). - 03 · What your business does. A short description: the sector you serve and what you sell. - 04 · Your in-house tech team. Who's on it (roles like AI engineer or data analyst), what they do, and how many people. This field is what proves you're a “digital leader,” so be specific. Your GenAI use case - 01 · Where you are today. Still exploring, looking at off-the-shelf tools, ready to build something custom, or something else. Most companies that work with us are at the build end. - 02 · Building in-house or with a partner. This is where we come in. - 03 · The use case itself. What you want GenAI to do and the outcome you expect. Vague answers get vague follow-ups, so it's worth a few real sentences. IMDA's common starting points are knowledge mining, customer engagement, conversational analytics, operations automation, and content generation, and yours can sit in any of these. - 04 · Your timeline. When you want to start and roughly when you'd like to be live. Your contact details - 01 · Full name, designation, business email, and mobile number. Heads up That's the whole form. Nothing here needs financial or bank details. If a version of this form ever asks for those, stop and check with us. 02 / The process The process ## Four stages. We're with you from the second one onward. 01 Stage 01 ### Register your interest. You submit the interest form with the inputs above. This is how IMDA and partners understand your project. The formal grant declaration comes later, at stage 4. 02 Stage 02 ### Tech discovery. You get GenAI advisory from experts and scope a project with real business impact. This is where we map your workflows and tell you honestly what's worth building, and what isn't. 03 Stage 03 ### Project implementation. We build and deploy the GenAI solution with you, with guidance on the tech and on AI governance along the way. Most projects ship in weeks, around six on average. 04 Stage 04 ### Grant declaration. When the project's scoped, you submit a short declaration on the SMEs Go Digital portal: - 01 · Set aside 10–15 minutes and do it in one sitting. The form can't be saved, and you submit once per project. - 02 · Log in with your Corppass Administrator credentials. If you hit an error, your Corppass admin needs to assign you the "Applicant" role under the SMEs Go Digital eService. - 03 · IMDA emails you within a day to confirm receipt. - 04 · Voltade, as your Lead Company, reviews and updates you on approval within two weeks.
