Every request carries two headers, ORDERDESK-STORE-ID and ORDERDESK-API-KEY, both shown when the key is created. - 01 · Create an API key · In Order Desk, open Store Settings and the API tab, then create a key. Order Desk shows the key and your Store ID. - 02 · Agree what Volty may touch · Reading orders and shipments, and whether address updates are allowed. - 03 · Approve the connection · Our team builds it and an admin approves it once in Volty. - 04 · Switch address updates · Updating an order starts Off. Anything that changes Order Desk starts Off, and once on it can be set to check with staff, so each change waits for a colleague. ## Common questions ### Where do we find the Order Desk credentials Volty needs? In Order Desk, go to Store Settings and open the API tab to create an API key. Order Desk then shows the key and your Store ID, which every API request sends as headers. You share both with our team for the custom connection, and an admin approves it once in Volty. ### Can Volty change the address on an order that has not shipped? Yes, if you switch the address tool on. The Order Desk API can update an order,. On Check with staff, a colleague approves each new address first, so the order can be corrected before your supplier prints or packs it. ### Will Volty know which printer or supplier has the order? Yes. Volty reads the order's folder and details in Order Desk, so it can say whether an order is new, at the printer or shipped. When a shipment is added, it reads the carrier and tracking number and can email them to the buyer. ### How much does it cost to connect Order Desk with Volty?
