  1. Don't delete the Envoy channel. Your CRM data, contacts, and conversation history are preserved in Envoy regardless of the ban.
  2. 2
  3. Back up your chatbot configuration. Copy prompts and auto-reply settings in case you need to set up a new number.

  4. The sooner you appeal, the better your chances.

    Step 1: In-App Review

    • Open WhatsApp on the phone
    • If you see "Request a Review", tap it immediately. This is the fastest path to getting unbanned.
    • Wait for a response (usually 24-72 hours). Check your email for updates from Meta.

Step 2: Email Appeal (If No In-App Option)

    Send to [email protected]:

Subject: Account Review Request. +[country code][number]

    Dear WhatsApp Support,

Our business WhatsApp number +[number] was recently restricted. We are a legitimate business using WhatsApp Business API for customer communications.

Business name: [Your Business Name] Phone number: +[country code][number] WABA ID: [Your WABA ID from Envoy Settings > Channels]

We would like to request a review of this restriction. We are committed to following WhatsApp's business policies.

    Thank you.

    Step 3: Meta Direct Support

    1
  5. Check Envoy: Settings > Channels > WhatsApp. Is the channel still Connected?
  6. 2
  7. If Connected: send a test message
  8. 3
  9. If Disconnected: follow the reconnection procedure
  10. 4
  11. Warm up before resuming broadcasts:
    • Reply-only mode for 7-14 days
    • Then small batches (50-100 contacts)
    • Monitor quality rating daily
    • Don't resume full broadcast volume until your rating is back to Green

  12. See the "If the Appeal Fails" section in our account banned guide for the new-number setup process through Envoy.
